Thread: Keep getting logged out every few seconds

Everytime I post a reply, I am prompted to relogin and thank god I have LastPass which automatically fills in my username and password and logs me in but I just though I should let you know so you can fix this

I am using Firefox 9 on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

This has never happened before and it ONLY happens on these forums not any other forums

Do you have a auto cookie cleaner?

Did you just recently update to Firefox 9?

I can say that I updated to Firefox 9 and I have gone to Chrome since. It was so buggy I couldn't even open the browser most of the time. Try using Chrome and let us know. I was also Win 7 64 bit with Firefox 9.

I didn't just update, I formatted my PC and installed FF 9 fresh.

The strange thing is, why does it happen only on BBOS? Doesn't happen on Crackberry, pctweakers.net (my forums) , mydigital life forums, wilders security forums, just this site

lemme uninstall FF 9 and install FF 5 and see

No man, still getting the error with FF 5 also. I NEVER had this issue before, can you check if anyone change the cookie settings or the friendly URL handler in the Admin CP?

I just formatted my laptop and installed FF 5 and no addons and still have to logon each visit and each post I make

I just noticed that when it does that on the top of the screen it says LOGOUT that means I am actually logged in always, however, the screen keeps prompting me to login and LastPass automatically logs me back in

I'll look into this. In the meantime, make sure you clean out your cache as well.

I just cleared the forum cache. Now try again and let me know results.

Could have been that when I changed the login box that some caching conflicts were going on as data from the old login code was still in the system. Hope others didn't experience the same as you. Glad to see it's resolved, thanks for reporting.
