Links in NAVBAR on search results page

Would it be possible to get the "New Posts", "Private Messages", "Forum Actions" etc. links in the NAVBAR on the search results pages. Navigating away from the search results is a bit of a pain. You either have to go back to forum home or in to a thread to navigate to the area that you want. I have attached a couple of images to explain what I mean:

    Normal condition:

    Search Results Page

    Thanks in advance.

    Just saw this thread.

I'll look into doing that, it's a good idea.

I like this idea too...I believe this was looked into when we first switched over to the new layout. At the time we were waiting for a hack to remedy this.

I hope there is one now, I would really like to have it this way too!! :sun:

I'm surprised you have it set this way. I have a test VB4 board setup (my site is VB3) and the links in the navbar are there all the time. I wonder if it is something with the theme you have installed.

After doing some inspecting on my test site, the reason why those links don't show up in the navbar on search results is because you have disabled the "What's New" tab.

Going to tackle on this during the week. Been busy with other stuff.

As you can see, the navbar is a total customization, so any default vB features have been wiped out.

Yeah, it looks like you're using a hack similar to this one where it lets you add custom tabs but will also let you disable some of the stock tabs like "What's New?" that come by default in VB4.
