Forum Email Notifications inconsistant

Is it just me or do other people experience very intermittent Email replies from not only this forum, but CB as well? Sometimes I'll go 2-3 days not receiving an update from a subscribed thread, and then all of a sudden one will come in. Then when I go to the site there's a bunch that I didn't even know about? Very disturbing when you ask everyone for help and then don't realize you were given a response. Makes you seem ungrateful for not replying IMO. Of course I have checked to make sure my Email address is correct and that I have it set to immediate reply, was hoping someone had an idea about this? Thanks

Yeah it happens to me all the time. Even if I visit the thread and post to make sure I am current, it is still hit and miss most of the time. BBOS is way better regarding the email notifications IMO. But it does still happen

Dude....Are you following me? ha Kidding. Well with what you said I assume you have no idea how to fix it but then how do you almost always seem to be the first, or close to the first to respond?

Even right now my phone has not notified me once of a response. I have to keep refreshing my screen on the PC to check for new rplies. Is that what everyone else does?

Ah I see what you mean. On the top right you will be see table called "New Posts". Just hit that tab and the newest replies will be listed there.

hhaha, my spelling sucks too... when im not sure i use spell check though cuz i have OCD ill do my best to correct you but you might get sick of me real quick since it doesnt look like your the greatest speller

as long as you have the thread notifications set to instant email thats all you can do... i miss some here and there but like bm said bbos isnt as bad with missing notifications as other forums.

My phone is away from me but I believe one of the tabs is called "latest forum topics". It works the same way as the new post icon does on your PC.

Okay I just tried that. It took me to a page of newest replies for ALL threads. That's okay, but what about just THIS thread? It wasn't even listed on that page?

it wasnt on the page because there hadnt been a reply since the last time you viewed it. depending on how you have your subcriptions set you should be able to go to quick links>subscribed threads and all the threads you posted on are in there (thats how i have it set up at least)

If you have subscribed to this thread, go under you User CP and hit list subscriptions, it list all the threads you subscribed too

If it didn't show up on your PC that means that nothing new has been added since you last visited it. As soon as a new response comes in it will go back to the top of the list.
