Forum Email Notifications inconsistant

Okay thanks Laney, but as I'm sitting here talking to all of you, not one notification has come thru on my phone for this thread? Isn't that weird?

do you have the options set to instant email notification? if not, have you subscribed to the thread and set it to instant email?

Im sure some day you will! And i know me and Laney had a thread subscribed for both of us, and we couldnt stop the emails from replies or link backs, it was pretty bad lol

Mikenbekah, I noticed as well that my notifications don't come thru. I am on the forums frequently so I do not subscribe to threads, but I do have it set to notify me of PMs...I have received a couple PMs and none came thru to my phone email???? That's really weird...I wonder if it's data outage again??? or if it's .148 that's causing that????

olta, i dont get some of my PM notifications either so i dont think its the OS. i do get some but some just never come through and i only find out about it when i log in.

Olta I am starting to wonder if it isn't .148 since you and I are having the same issue's with email. I haven't had the problem since upgrading to Lyr's hybrid so who knows.

I believe it is .148 that's why I say who knows since it has stopped happening with the new OS, but nothing but issues with .148.

Well, I am gonna do a little experiment....I heard good things about .148 wtih a .90 radio and so loading it right now....will see If not, I always have .132 as my winner

Wow, these storms are like who knows what!!! Each one reacts so different to every OS! .132 was really good for me.... so don't know may be it's not the OS, but data shortage with vzw or something???

When was the last time you updated your email address. The reason I ask is since we have changed servers it may be required to do, even though it is the same email address it may be necessary. I experienced something similar until I updated.

Yeah, that could very well be it too. Hopefully that gets resolved fairly soon, or at least the cause identified....

Well, not meaning to throw a monkey wrench in things. Sometimes I do not get instant notifications when a subscribed thread is updated, AND the email is not set to go to my bbos email address. To the contrary, my notifications go to my hotmail account.

Some days I get the notifications right away, and other times, I get it a few hours - the next day later.

I've just owned it up to the server being slow because of all the activity.
