Thread: A drift from the original reason i came to BBOS

Recently I have been parousing BBOS and I have noticed a shift of the layout of the board. The main reason I came to BBOS was the way the forum and moderators made it easy to find new apps and OS's.

One change that i felt was good recently was the addition of the "OS" sub folders of the device. If someone wanted to find the latest leaked OS, they just looked under leaked OS, for the most current official release, just look under Official release. Also, the mods and admins were terrific at making sure that the link to download the OS or app was always in the first post of a thread.

I was looking through the 9550 folders trying to see if there was any new OS releases (and I am running 713 from VZW, official), and under VZW is 607 as the newest, and overall, 517 from sasketel is the newest. And under Latest files, the 9550 isn't even listed.

I know BBOS has gone through some changes recently, and with changes comes adjustments, but I hope that BBOS can migrate back to this type of information with the new growth of the site. Some of the new features, contests, layouts are killer. I am enjoying those, but I miss the simple easy ways to look for OS updates and changes.

I've notice that it was more difficult to find leaked OS downloads too. Maybe it only in the 9550 section. That is where I have been looking as well.

Thanks Jrod. I wasn't sure if I needed to say anything or not, but I figured if I at least don't say something, then no one will know what I am thinking of the site.

Now, just to hope I get one of the unlock codes for my phone...lol
