Thread: Site suggestion - Please vote!!

One of the suggestions that I came across I would like to get more feedback from our members. It was suggested to allow members to submit their own ringtones and/or wallpapers for people to download. So I would like to know if you guys would like the ability to upload ringtones and/or wallpapers into the downloads section?

I personnally wouldnt upload, as I don't know how to create ringtones or themes or wallpapers but downloading others I would love to do!

I like the suggestion. It's fun to share wallpapers and ringtones.

You would have to find a way to make sure what they upload isn't illegal. This would require constant moderation I think.

The only problem is the copy protection side.

I would love to make wallpapers and get them hosted BUT I have so many from different people I don't want to upset them if I accidently put one up and dont credit the right person.

I voted yes, but I wont post unless I create something myself.

keep in mind, you can easily make them out of pictures you take too.

I have a thread in here somewhere from last year having to do with making them. I will try and find it or make a how to which will help anyone who doesn't know how.

I do like the idea though, great thinking.

I for one know how to make my own ringtones and use my family pictures as wallpapers. Allowing to upload ringtones or Wps may generate the ability to upload "Viruses" .. For those unfortunate Part poopers..Just my Honest opinion. Unless the site is Protected already then..Its all good..

They would all be moderated. But now you have me thinking...hmm.

That might be the stipulation Brett, that they must be self made!
