By now you have probably heard about RIM's release of the highly anticipated BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0. For months now, all anyone in the BlackBerry community could do was talk about PlayBook OS 2.0. Rumors and guesses of when it would be released had everyone on their toes, and had others running out of patience. They say good things come to those who wait. Was this the case with PlayBook OS 2.0? Did RIM deliver on what so many have been waiting for? After spending some time with the PlayBook OS 2.0 this is my review.

With the new release of OS 2.0 today, it also looks like WordPress has officially launched their app for PlayBook. The all new WordPress for PlayBook app allows you to write posts, edit pages, and manage comments on the go. Both WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress (2.9.2 or higher) sites are supported. Download the app and start blogging on the go in no time.

With the new PlayBook OS 2 just releasing today we not only see new features, we see also a new UI from BlackBerry App World. Let us know if you notice any new improvements in the comments!

While not every one is able to participate in this promotion, there is one thing that everyone can do. If you have an old BlackBerry that is still in working condition, but maybe a hot mess of technology, you can check out BlackBerry's Trade Up Program which allows you to get a quote for an old device. You send the device in, and receive money back (up to $100). How brilliant is that? Simply fill out a short questionnaire and up pops your Trade Up Refund! I checked this out myself, and for my two old BlackBerry devices, I was up for a refund of $105! I was astounded! Unfortunately, I'm that dork who refuses to give up my BlackBerrys because I'm convinced one day they'll be worth millions. If you're willing to send in your old devices, you get some cash for it. Or, you could talk other people into giving you their old devices too and get even more spending money. Hmm, that's a pretty good idea...

Kisai Labs the creative minds behind the popular BlackBerry PlayBook Twitter app Blaq, have added their talents to developing Cloudee. If your're a mac user you will find that this app may be something you have been waiting for quite some time. Cloudee was created to address its creator Jerome Carty, inability to access his Mac's CloudApp account.

The end results are Cloudee, a CloudApp client for the BlackBerry PlayBook. CloudApp is a Mac application that allows you to share your screenshots, bookmarks, and photos.

Take a look at some of the apps features and planned features:

Features:

- View files from your CloudApp account
- Download files to your PlayBook from CloudApp
- Upload new files from your PlayBook to CloudApp
- View bookmarks right within the app
- Send files to and empty trash

Planned features:

- Post to social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr)
- Auto-upload screenshots
- More as they come along

Keep in mind the app is currently in beta, and is available for those beta testers in Kisai Labs Test Lab.

If your a BlackBerry user in Singapore you may be entitled to some free gifts from RIM. The gifts appear to be specific in that they only apply to users located in Singapore and only to those with a Curve 9380 or Torch 9860. As of right now the reason for these gifts is unknown. It could be another issue that RIM needs to make good on like the disaster outage that happened last year.

I don't know much about foreign movie markets, but BlackBerry is going to be in Singapore's latest movie production, Timeless Love 那个夏天.

Upon the demise of his grandmother, Morgan discovers among her belongings, a watch, a lease to an island and pictures of her from a past she used to speak regretfully of. In an attempt to unravel the mysteries of his only kin, the frigid and inflexible Morgan arrives at the island where he discovers the importance of friendship and love. Catch the trailer in the above video to find out more. Timeless Love premieres on 8th March 2012 in local cinemas.
