The Black Friday deals may have been too good for Best Buy. Earlier in the week Best Buy like many other stores reported that they would be selling the 16 GB BlackBerry PlayBook at $199.99, that's about $300 in saving. I like many others were excited to take advantage of killer prices, practically giving the PlayBook away.

The excitement quickly turned into frustration as many people have been having their order cancelled with little or no explanation. Statements like the device being out of stock or your payment was unable to be processed were among the number of explanations that users have been receiving from Best Buy. I was able to get a Best Buy representative on the phone and they stated that corporate had "cancelled all BlackBerry PlayBook orders". Forum posts regarding the issue have been quickly popping up over at the official Best Buy Forums. Clearly somethings going on. Whats going on with Best Buy? Do they have the device or not? A new app is out that allows you to copy your iTunes collection to your BlackBerry PlayBook. This is a nice easy way to get all of your songs from iTunes to your PlayBook. Currently it does not support copying music from your PlayBook to your PC. The cost is a deal at $0.99.

The topic of syncing email data like calendar and contacts to a BlackBerry device seems to come up quite frequently. I was reminded of this from a blog post from RIM, that also showed some steps on how to do this. So I decided to follow suite and write up a quick tutorial for everyone here. So I hope this will help someone. The first think you will want to check is your software version, as the version must be OS 5.0 or higher. If you find yourself with a lower OS version than OS 5.0 then you will want to take a look at our download section and see if there is an update for your device.
