By default I like option 3 better. but that is only because the other 2 are just odd to me.

B.s i agree should have atleast used the new odin.. Also i work for BB R&D i assure all of u there is not even a thought of Blackberry releasing a slider..

That's why I was laughing...

Lol i do have to the dreamers 5 years ago in the time were the pearl and curve rained supreme.. that would have been a good time for the slider but the iphone has changed the market and Rim is fighting away and i can say this wait till you see whats in the hands of blackberry owners next year...

If they were to make a storm 3, why would they use the storm 1 as a basline. The buttons show it is the storm 1. Total photoshop pic, but cool idea

Funny u say that 'cause I was looking at it and was like "wow that keyboard looks soooo familiar" and I just realized, that keyboard is the exact same one that's on verizons xv6800 (the phone i had before switching to the Storm).

But as for the phone, i don't like the idea. The Storm is clean cut, and adding a slide out keyboard, I feel, would just throw the cleanliness out of the storm..if that makes sense lol.

If a phone has slide out keyboard, I don't think they can make it very thin 'cause if it's too thin then it would break easily with all the pressure from pressing the keys. The only way i see a physical keyboard looking good, on a storm model similar to what is out now, is if it's kind of like the first generation sidekicks where the screen rotates open to the top and underneath is the keyboard.

look amazing but dec. this year. i dont see that happening. maybe storm 2 by then lol.

if this happens i hope they just use a standard (iphonish) screen. i cant deal with the clicking.
I rocked a HTC TYTN for a copule years and loved it. it would be incredible to go back to a qwerty touchscreen slider

IMO, a tour with touchscreen and a 5.0mp camera should be the next BB device.
