thank you for the credit sir. i am all for the spread of upcoming devices, features, etc., but dont want to have all of the lemmings falling off of the cliff for something that is way off base.
i would venture a guess that it would be a landscape slider, rather than a portrait slider. rim could still have the phone have a virtual suretype keyboard while in portrait for those that didnt want to slide out the keyboard... :omfg:
maybe i should log off for the night, or i just cant read, did you say someone you talked to gave you the pic or did i misunderstand again? if so i just meant if you did talk or someone emailed you the pic you could ask them about it.. thats all nothing personal... sorry if it came off wrong J.. I hope you know that i would never doubt or disrespect what you say
i would wait til you can view it from a computer, but when you do, you will see that it is as plain as day that it is the i730. in no way is that a RIM prototype in the picture with the 8700 series and the iPhone. i dont mean to come here and start an uproar or cause issues with mods, but come on now, that is not a blackberry.
Cj you are causing no problems, we accept all opinions and facts :D
Well the picture may be wrong BUT the 'specs' are real. That I know.
what i meant to say is that blackhawk, slider keyboard device is a device that in fact it does exist, is being worked and tested by rim and there are a prototype that looks like the one in the picture, a prototype is just that a prototype, which means things can change from one to another prototype
i would agree that there could be prototypes of similar form factor to that of the i730, but the particular one pictured is not a blackberry, but is an i730. sure prototypes change, but they do not start or go through product evolution as exact copies of previously released devices by competitors.

That's true what it makes that one different is the way it slides, prolly the form factor does look similar but the way is slides is totally different.Quote:

Regardless of the pics and their d*%n sources, a slider BB does exist and is being tested lol. Threads like this are great, a lot of the fun of BB forums is leaked pics, specs, rumors, discussion, opinions, etc. The information is not always on the money but we try to put the puzzle pieces together. Nice scoop BBOS ;)
This post is amusing...
And I def did see that picture a long time ago from multiple different places...
Saw it on CB for one... and also have seen it come from TouchPro247 multiple times too... lol
But to claim it's a "blackhawk" is not true at all... as has been shown.
As far as claims of a "storm slider" I'm sure there is every form factor you can imagine in some various prototype form or another... so no one has shown anything that proves anything at all...
I do have the pics that were talked about on twitter the other night in my possesion that started the whole "blackhawk" rumor... and they don't show much of anything at all... nothing that can prove anything...
Maybe I'll post them (with a watermark ;) ) over on TheBlackBerryZone I'm sure that will cause a stir... :p
Any chance that the above discussed device and a device codenamed "Mr.T", no there is no typo, are related? I saw an article from BerryReporter.com that had some info. With the below pic.
Now this is not an actual image, just something the device might look like. What are your guys thoughts? Also, for your reading pleasure the link with the article is below.
