Rumor has it there's a new device called Blackhawk. Can't really be confirmed as some on CB say @BBMChats may not be a reliable source. Goes on to give the info that this device will have OLED. For those who are going to ask "what is OLED", no need to. Here is the wikipedia definition, click here to view it. Apparently it is going to be a 10000 device which makes me not truly believe this.
Sounds prettyy sweetm just wondering if it is legit.

But look at fcc records and rim patents can anyone dispute I'm bs? Look for the device I describes. Think storm. With a slide out keyboard.
Well it sounds sweet for sure, I bet we will see quite a few RIM devices that will blow us away within the next few years.

I think you took what BlackberryOS said wrong :) I believe he was coming from the point of the 10000 device model number. This is one of the first times I am hearing about this as well, and it blew my mind for sure. I really don't think he meant any personal attack on you at all. As a website we have to file this information under rumor just in case :)
I didn't take it personally at all.. I'm not bgr or kevin from cb or anyone known and I like to keep it that way. But just stating the facts if I were you guys I wouldn't believe me either lol. I know no pics no proof. So its more take my word for it and you'll see when in right ill be considerd reliable :) I got tons of info. I'm not under nda. I don't have a site to put this type of info on. I don't need the heat. But I fig I'd let people know what I found out heard and saw and take it as you will. Time will prove me correct ;)

The real question here is the OS. What good are any of these features when the Java platform can barely handle it?? Heck, the Java platform has a hard time addressing more than 256MB of memory for OS AND applications. It's the reason RIM is having such a hard time I bet with upping memory in their devices.
I think blackberry sunflower would go VERY far...
It has nothing to do with the Java OS. The particular memory type they use for OS and App storage only comes in 128MB and 256MB capacities, they use it because it has integrated security features.Quote:
