The edges are not even similar on all four corners. However I will have to disagree with you, Joe, on the volume buttons. From what I see of this picture, they're on the back piece of the slider phone that has the keyboard, so symmetrically speaking they would be in the appropriate place. For example, if the phone were closed, the volume buttons would appear to be further towards the top. And JT, I thought RIM lost the rights to officially use BBX and that's why they changed it to BlackBerry 10? Same diff, people will still use BBX as an abbreviation.
As for the buttons. I can deal with all of them except the loss of the trackpad. I honestly thought I would hate my 9900 because of the touchscreen, however I do quite enjoy that now. But that doesn't mean there aren't occasions when I need a little help from the trackpad because I'm touchscreen disabled. RIM really needs to reevaluate this plan, if you ask me. Which technically hadn't happened, but I decided to share anyways.
