Thread: The upcoming BB Storm 3 will start out as OS 6

But my question is will the BB Storm 3 stay OS 6 or will the BB Storm 3 go to OS 7

The Monaco, or AKA the Storm 3 will be released with OS 6.1 sometime this summer/fall. I do think that OS 6.1 may be a stepping stone to the mother of BlackBerry OS's, QNX. Once QNX is on the BlackBerry phones and not just the PlayBook, we will be in celebration. From the videos and research I've done, QNX is a super OS. I don't know exactly what they will call OS QNX for phones, but it very well could be OS 7.
