More Details on BlackBerry 8980 From FCC Filings

We’ve been hearing a little bit about the upcoming BlackBerry 8980 and today FCC posted pictures and a User's Manual of the upcoming device on their website. The BlackBerry 8980 will apparently only run on 2G and currently only supports OS 5. We sure hope RIM pushes out the OS 6 update pretty soon. Also, as we know the 8980 has been picked up by China Mobile so it will likely show up in China first.

AWH RIM. bring this to T-mobile but with 4G OS6 8mp camera. i so like the island keys, i can type way more better than the current 9780 i have. and yeah i got big fingers. its just the spacing inbetween that makes it easier.

this phone is going to sell like hot cakes though. china has a HUGE population.
