Is the BlackBerry 9900 Still Alive? Appears in Vodafone Sales System

A BlackBerry 9900 has supposedly popped up in Vodafone Germany's sales system. There were rumors awhile back that this could be the model number for the BlackBerry Torch, but as we know that was not the case. There are some who think that this be the Magnum/Dakota code name which was rumored to be a hybrid device kinda like the BlackBerry Bold 9780, but with a touchscreen.

What are your thoughts? Mistake or a new device making its way out in the open?

Why must RIM be so secretive? Hopefully more info will leak. RIM needs to release a good device before Christmas or they are really falling behind as a business. They couldn't even release anything for Black Friday!

The Torch has had incredible sales since it's been released and even better since the prices have dropped not to mention it's an incredible device - I own one and there is rarely lag (very rarely) it's very responsive and most application developers have caught up now so all is compatible. I'm sure RIM has something up their sleeves, however, right now, I'm satisfied with RIM's massive amount of improvement compared to their old habits. They are listening and acting appropriately now.
