Thread: Spotted: Storm 2.5 / Storm 3 Outted?

Finally, a picture of the new upcoming Storm 9570 device. But what is it really? Is it a Storm 2 "Refresh" like the Bold 9780 is for the 9700 or an entirely new device. It is rumored to keep mostly the same specs as the 9550, but will include a 5MP camera, 512Mb of RAM (and of course OS6). Like it or not, this Storm phone will also have SurePress as it's touchscreen technology. It also doesn't look like the Storm 9570 (2.5?) will have LTE technology. We have also heard lots of rumors about a Storm 3 device, with highly updated specs, so I don't know if the 9570 will be the S3. What do you think? Is this Storm device going to be released while RIM cooks up something much better? Drop a comment and let us know.

For some reason I feel like RIM is going to up the game on this one, being that they are behind iphone, and now droid. I think we're in for a good one this time. I just got that feeling (or just wishful thinking)

I think this is just the S2 refresh, which is very cool, I didn't mean the word "just" to be bad. But, I can't wait for the "new" Storm, whether it be the Storm 4 or whatever. I think the refresh will be a great phone, but nothing special, and I'm hoping the next Storm will be a beast!!!!
