    Not that RIM has ever tried to challenge or be a competitor to another device's release, but if the iPhone comes to VZW, as several Wall St analysts have said, could this accelerate the release? I realize that VZW has a major impact upon the release (device and software), so does the timing [of another device] really matter? Just thinking out loud hear!

    No slider would be fine I guess but it would need to touch improvements. I like the iphone system, BB needs something similar. Although I have to say, me and my chubby thumbs like the physical keyboard.

    If it's a slider, it's not the Storm3. Storm is known for its SurePress and full touchscreen tech, it's what people associate with the Storm. A slider device would definitely go by another name.

    yeah any one care to share the prototype info on the storm 3?

    no the storm will not be a slider. and the slider 9700a might come to at&t, but its cool beings

    i want that surepress tech. blackberry went the right way. i cant wait to see a thinner storm3!
