Thread: Is the Curve 8910/8930 coming to a carrier near you?

We have heard that T-Mobile is discontinuing the 8900. Could they be replacing it with a new Curve? The FCC is currently in the process of certification for the 8910 for GSM carriers and maybe a 8930 for CDMA. The 8910 appears to be edge only (no 3G). The phone appears to look like it's big brother the 9700 with a Curve style keyboard. The new Curve also has the new trackpad instead of the old style problematic trackball. What are your thoughts?

if 8930 is for sure then with out a doubt Telus in Canada would grab it.

they are dominating the 3G smartphone world here

I really hope T-Mobile gets this device and that it comes with 3G.

I would love to see T-Mobile with the 8910. But, I thought that T-Mobile BB's were xx20 series?

i hope RIM changes there mind on how this berry is going to sell..

i sure am gettin this. well the 8320 was my first berry and im willing to go back to it if its 3G upgraded model
