Rogers... or should i say ROBBERS!!! keeps charging me for data usage when i have WIFI. I ALWAYS use the hotspot login... So whats the problem here???
Rogers has been crediting me for the usage, but i am getting sick of sitting on hold for half an hour to get my bill fixed every month. They wont give me a reason why this is happening.
So this is how the calls usually go...
I tell them the problem, and they say "let me put you on hold for a sec"
And then they come back and ask me if i use PIN messaging and i say NO, cause NONE of my friends have BB's. and they say "let me put you on hold for a sec"
Then they come back and say "have you been traveling outside of canada"
And i say NO, do you think i have the money for vacations, i would rather pay the mortgage thanks
Then they say AGAIN "let me put you on hold for a sec"
Then finally they come back and say "i'll give you a credit"
And i say GREAT, BUT WHAT ABOUT NEXT TIME??????
Then they explain that as long as i use the hot-spot login and stay where the wifi signal can reach, I WONT GET CHARGED!!
So obviously i have great internet, Rogers Hi-Speed Express, to be exact. And a great working router (linksys)
So i guess my question is WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE???
Sorry about the crazy rant but this is really really annoying. Maybe the browser on my phone is setup wrong... Everything is set to Hot-spot browser... Maybe Im Missing something??? If anyone can shed some light on this, I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER!!! Thanks in advance team
