    Skype is a software which most of us are aware of, it is a masterpiece of technology that enables users to communicate verbally over internet free of cost, irrespective of the distance between the two users.

    Agreed. Many people forget about Skype or are just too lazy to use it to save on their minutes. If you have a data plan and are with Verizon, it's a great way to save from using the minutes up on your plan.

    Skype is great...free is good. We even have it on our computer to video conference with the grandkids.... again free......

    The majority of us have no ability to use Skype on our phones.
    When I was in the UK we had Skype on all phones (3 phone company).
    Its a great tool and very unfair that its not available to he masses...

    you guys are just praising skype unnecessarily.. i mean why don't you write down the things that differentiate it from other apps. As far as i know, the voice quality is awesome in skype when you make out of country calls. What else you guys feel about it?

    For one, I've tried Tango, and Skype runs much smoother.

    Although I have heard that Skype on the Mac isn't as great as for the PC. I have used it on the Mac, but not with version 5.
