Thread: How to cancel update

Hi All,
I just bought new Playbook.
After selecting country and language, playbook start OS update to ver 2.1.0.1314 and no option to cancel update.
Is any way to stop update of OS ?

I've never wanted to stop and update (and curious why you would want to), but you might try holding down the volume +and - and the power button at the same time until it turns off and reboots. It's called a "hard reset" or words to that effect. Please post back!

Thanks for info, but in time i receive your message, my PB did update to new 2.1.0.1314 ver.
