I purchased a book from Amazon Kindle and had it sent to my PC. On my PB I use Book Reader for EPUB which I am very happy with. The Book Reader notes says it is compatible with Kindle so I transferred the book to my PB. I now see that it is a .lrf file and it is not read compatible with Book Reader. What must I do to be able to download or convert the Kindle book to a Book Reader format. I would prefer to continue using Book Reared as opposed to downloading the dedicated Kindle app.

You need to convert your file from lrf to epub. This site can do that for you - Free ePub Converter - Convert PDF and other types of documents & ebooks to ePub format

The .lrf file is a Sony proprietary format mainly used on their eReaders. You will need a program to convert the file to an epub format.

Thank you. Yes, I downloaded Calibre and used Apprentice Alf's plugin to strip the DRM and convert to ePub. Success!

Have you tried the Andriod Kindle app which you can sideload?

Yes, I have it here but I just prefer Epub Reader.
