It seems that an update for BlackBerry Bridge is slowly making it's way through App World. The update (v1.0.0.93) includes improvements to the speed of the Bridge Browser and over all performance of Bridge.
If you can't wait for it to update through App World, you can download it OTA at your own risk.
The new Bridge is awesome for speed BUT when I'm on my car kit or bluetooth and try to use the Bridge Browser I get a fatal exception error on my phone pertaining to one of the bluetooth modules and then I have to reboot my phone to get the bluetooth hands free working properly again.

I've also noticed a jump in speediness. Battery life running the app has improved as well, at least it seems so.
