Thread: Super AntiSpyware

Along with a good AntiVirus, it is a must these days to have a Malware/Worm/Trojan scanner and perform a scan every few days to clean out all those tracking cookies, or other programs that may not be a direct threat to your PC, yet are still harmful and pose security risks.

SuperAntiSpyware is the best I have used and it gets updated daily and best of all, it is FREE! (No need to upgrade to the Pro version as they are the same but the Pro version just has an active scanner which may slow your computer and isn't really necessary to run 2 security programs at the same time, like an Antivirus and SuperAntiSpyware)

Download the latest version here then perform an update and scan your computer >>> SUPERAntiSpyware 4.55.1000

Ad-Aware once was the best tool to do this, back at version 6 if you remember. It was clean, simple, and did the job.

Now it has just become bloated.

Try this, Run a scan with Ad-Aware, then update your SuperAntiSpyware and run another full scan or Smart Scan and see what you get

PS: After you install SuperAntiSpyware, go to settings, and disable it from starting up automatically and from being resident in the taskbar. Just do the manual scans and you're good

Malwarebytes is hands down the best anti-malware tool out there IMO.

This one detects more stuff I have tried both

Malwarebytes AntiMalware ignores harmful cookies but this one catches them all

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

I use them both.
