Thread: Questions about PC upgrade or buying PlayStation 2?

Hi, I have a PC: Intel Core 2 Duo E6650@2.53GHz, 2GB RAM, Sparkle GeForce 9600GSO 384MB and Intel DG31PR MoBo. I want to upgrade GPU and RAM. GPU is Foxconn GeForce 9800GTX-512N Extreme and 3GB RAM. I am upgrading mainly because of playing games such as: CoD: WW & NFS: Undercover. Is upgrading PC a better choice or buying a PlayStation 2 a better choice? Please, please suggest me. And, how much would PlayStation 2 cost in Bangalore(INR)? Please tell me.

I guess you answered your own question, how much will it cost? I would look into that before deciding what to do.

If you are going to use your computer for primarily gaming then you are going to want to upgrade your graphics card to around a 1 gig card. But make sure that the power source on your computer can handle a more powerful graphics card. You don't want overheating issues.

Also, keep in mind when you upgrade memory it depends on the Operating System you are running on your computer. If you are running a Windows based 32 bit system then anything over 4 gigs of RAM is pointless. If you are running a 64 bit system then it can handle more RAM.

Are you looking to get a PlayStation 2? Because I can't imagine those being very expensive now that the PlayStation 3 has been out for quite some time now.
