Yea but the calendar in live is pointless I haven't been able to invite or add invited appointments which is a must for me. Unless I have missed something I also can't sync it with google calendar so this could be a problem.

Jep, that would have been my next question - if you had calendar function before you must have used the full outlook, so why not use it on win7 again.

Here's an article on how to migrate your old settings to win7 if you are coming from xp
Windows 7 Upgrade and Migration Guide
Basically it should be using the migsetup.exe from your WIN7 DVD

Ohh sweet. I am actually coming from vista, but at work I use the full outlook and have an office 2007 disk and key with outlook with it so that would be my best because I can sync that calendar with google and then back to work and my phone and to my wifes phone

I am back at square one I was wrong I dont have outlook on a disc.... now I am at a pretty large loss because I can not sync my calendars.. I cant even use the invite and accept invitations... this stinks and i cant spend the money on outlook right now, I thought I found a way using sunbird, and lightning but then I found that mozilla 3.0 is not compatible with a damn thing....
