UAE Etisalat users, u can easily unlock ur blackberries!

Good news Etisalat users,
all you have to do to unlock your blackberries is to call 101 and ask them for your unlock codes, they're giving them out to everybody.

they will ask for your IMEI, and to get that, you have to press on Alt+Shift+H

then after you you get the code these are the instructions:

1- Turn off all connections on your phone
2- go to Options>Advanced options>Sim card
3- type MEPD (even if you can't see the lettres)
4- a new menu will pop up, type MEP2 (MEP shift+E)
5- put in the unlock code and then you're done, turn the connections on and your blackberry is unlocked. :)

anytime.. i just hope more UAE users will start going online and coming to forums like this, they would learn alot instead of just following what ETISALAT has to say....

Hi i am having a BB 9500 strom purchased from etisalat and i am no longer in UAE i wanted to know how do i get the MEP code so i can unlock my BB

Hello Kie! Due to the fact this thread is quite old I don't know if this is still being offered. Have you tried calling etisalat and asking?
