Thread: Bell prepares to launch the Torch

Well it is aboot time for you Canadians to rejoice, eh? Canadian carrier Bell is prepared to drop to you loyal BlackBerrians the all new 9800 Torch. RIM and At&T first launched the device on August 14th here in the U.S. and now Ontario-based RIM is ready to kill that irony and release their power among their fellow man and woman.

Bell has opened up a sign-up page so you can be notified when the BlackBerry Torch becomes available. Bell, along with other canadian carriers have not released any specific info on the device as far as date of availability or pricing. The launch went off with a dull blast here in the U.S. with only 150,000 units selling in the first weekend and with expected launches coming from more carriers, they hope to sell plenty more in the months ahead.
