Thread: New leaks for Tour

Yeah it sure would.....

Ugh.. still nothing, I thought I'd avoided the 'lets drop it like its hot' plague when i ditched my 9530 back on Tour launch.. now I feel left the hell out.. I could've had a Droid with all I went through 4 storms and 2 tours.. Any word anywhere of official 4.7 --> 5.0 upgrades on devices that didn't come with 5.0 other than the 9530?

The last official word I had seen was the tour was supposed to get it the same day as the 9530, but obviously that didnt pan out.

Well yeah.. I have a feeling it'll be whenever the Tour2 *Essex* comes out.. in the same fashion they did with the Storm1/2 but I haven't heard that from anywhere, just a logical speculation.. another solid leak like .230 would be good to..

If that helps you sleep better at night.. power to ya.. I'm glad I didn't buy it.. would feel like wasted money on a phone that never gets leaks/OS's.

I don't understand. What is the need for bbOSalert, if there's already a "check for wireless upgrade" on the system.....

Well you have to invoke the check for wireless upgrade yourself. And that's only if there is a wireless upgrade. There may be a new release that isn't offered as a wireless upgrade. bbOSalert will automatically notify you whenever there is a new leaked or official OS release without you have to do anything.

Along with what sunkast said, the newest release from vzw (5.0.0.328) was not available OTA which would mean you cant check it over the phone either.

Indeed .303 was a shitbox.. probably one of the most unstable leaks I've ever seen and I was a release Storm1 owner, I've seen some scary sheeet!
