Thread: Tour 4.7.1.40 Bluetooth sync problem with 2008 BMW

Hi I got my new phone and it worked for 3 weeks, then sync stopped in the car, I went to the dealer and they told me it was not compatible with my new phone. HELP!
The dealer suggested that I reload the phone and see what happens. Does anyone know if this will fix the problem, or has anyone done the hybrid and have it syncing with my type of car 2008 BMW 528.
I am a newbie any help is appreciated, I love my new blackberry.

I'm not real familiar with with bluetooth and vehicles, but have you tried a simple battery pull? Hopefully another member has more expertise in this area and can assist.

I've had expereince with the same type of issue, an Audi instead of the BMW, and found that a batt pull was all that was needed. Especially if trying to use with multiple vehicles. The support list for OEM vehicle bluetooth is getting shorter and shorter for the newer SW versions.
