    1. What WiFI router u have? Post its Make & Model no.
    2. DO u use secure Wifi or open Wifi? If u use Open Wifi with no secuirty, look for an App for BB called HiWiFi. It is Free and may help u in faster config.
    3. If u have a secure Wifi, then u need to craete a new wifi connection in ur BB by inputting SSID, WEP Key etc. Chk ur device manual

    Hope this helps

    UMA
    Connection Pref.:

There are a lot of BB apps that need to have both WiFi and Mobile Network on in order to work. I know that the BlackBerry is designed to default to WiFi if it is available while still needing a Mobile Network connection as well. I believe that email requires Mobile Network to access/send emails.
