Contacts not syncing, remote device not working

I'm running a 9530 with RIM's IUSACELL .151 on it and it's paired in my car with an Alpine ex-10 BT device. My 3 main problems are:

1) the remote control will not dial calls...all other features (scrolling, selecting, etc) work fine with the remote, but it won't dial a call from any of the lists (calls received, calls missed, calls made, or the phone book) :irked:

2) the contacts are not loading into the BT device properly. Sometimes it only loads to the 'L's in my contacts or the 'M's or wherever, but it won't do a complete download. :aargh4:

3) overall experience streaming Slacker hasn't been the greatest....stoppages, volume issues, playing speed issues, sound quality, etc. However, I just read here that Slacker has now updated to v2.0.41, so I've installed that tonight and will check it out tomorrow. :Eyecrazy:

Everything else on the BT works decent, but I really would like these features cleared up. I'm thinking that it's an issue with the OS or the STorm, but hoping that it can be resolved through some changes in settings somewhere.....

Any suggestions would be MUCH APPRECIATED!! :D:D

Maybe try swapping the radio for a different one. Not sure there is really much you can do for this though.

Thanks for the tip. I've installed a couple leaked OS's previously, but never a hybrid. I've been doing research on hybrids and must admit, I'm a little confused by all the different options out there. OOAK seems to have a pretty long list and some of his are touted to be for Slacker users with either the 132 or 148 radio in them. So, I may take the plunge and see if a different radio helps fix it. That remote device would be slick if I could get it to work. The weird thing is when I synced up to the showroom BT with my STorm, I could get it to redial a received/missed/dialed call by using the remote. However, I haven't been able to do it on mine, which leads me to believe its a settings issue. Unfortunately, I'm new to BT and don't have any real experience with adjusting them.

Right. A lot of it I believe is related to the .151 radio.
