It looks like someone completely spilled the container of leaked OSes today! Leaked OS version 7.1.0.402 has made its way out to the wild for quite a few BlackBerry devices. If you have a BlackBerry Curve 9370,Torch 9810,9860,9850, or Bold 9900,9930, get out that USB cord and give your a device a fresh OS. There is something for everyone today. Everyone is either busy, or working, or too excited to post here just yet.

Loaded this OS on my 9810 about two hours ago, so far it has been very smooth. No lag at all and I will update later on today with any bugs/findings.

Update:OS was running fine but a bug was found. When I used the phone the person couldn't hear me but I could hear what they were saying. I confirmed this with AgentBlackBerry last night. He couldn't hear me at all and then about 90 seconds later he could. We tested it again and it was a no go, he could not hear anything from my end except when I would press a key on the keyboard. So any other 9810 owners Please report any bugs in this Leaked OS. I went back to 7.1.0.267 from Telus because it is a solid OS. 9900 owners are not having any problems as of yet, they are loving this build. Thanks in advance to anyone who posts a comment about this OS.

I've successfully updated my Bold 9900 to this new OS 7.1.0.402! So smooth.. You can tell the difference after updating it.. (my opinion) Also, I noticed something new (maybe) - check the attached photos.. This is totally awesome OS!




On App World, you'd see the NFC logo and there is also a Share option in the front page.. I never had this previously on my Official OS 7.1.0.342. Battery Life, hmm can not tell you that yet.. This is way more responsive than the the Official .342 and obviously less lags!
Try it out guys and do not leave your findings about this new OS

I'm definitely updating my BlackBerry Bold 9900 tonight, I just haven't had the time to do it as soon as this was released yesterday, plus I have to re-activate many applications I have installed on my device.

I'll keep everyone posted once I have installed the leaked OS7.1.0.402.

Ok everyone, I have successfully upgraded to the leaked OS7.1.0.402 for my BlackBerry Bold 9900, and so far with everything installed, and updated, like BBM back to version 6.2.0.44, and other pre-installed IM clients, such as WLM/Yahoo/GMail, plus other applications that may not be updated to the latest version, so please check via BlackBerry App World when you have the chance.

I noticed, with the tip from ToraxCefiro it was brought to my attention via the Networks and Connections, scroll down you will now see a brand new feature, called Media Server, which is above NFC, and below BlackBerry Bridge. (pictures below)



Overall, the OS has been one of the best (leaked) OS I've ever installed, and for me to say something like that, is very rare.

So if you own a BlackBerry Bold 9900, please don't hesitate, and go for the kill, this leaked OS will not disappoint.

This Leaked version is way better than the Official OS 7.1.0.342..
After updating mine, I noticed that it is more responsive and super smooth! Lag? What's that? Seriously I'm having no issues with the performance of this OS.. I know it's too early to say but I think this one is better..
As mentioned above by Sir Guido, there are new features you can see with this new OS.. Go try this and see it for yourself

Can you kindly clarify your concern? Did you mean you're having issues downloading the OS or you're having issues with updating your device OS?

Or if you will still encounter issues downloading it, you might want to try and download it via torrent.

I have installed this leaked OS for my 9850 and so far so good. Besides the parental control feature, don't notice much different than .342. It does seem a bit zippier when loading apps/screens and the battery holds out well. I'll give it a few more days to see for sure.
