So I need a little help with this wi-fi stuff.Never had a phone with it and in light of the news that the Tour is finally near, I need a little info.
The RIM site states that the Tour will support Wi-Fi: 802.11b/g.
In comparing ths info to the Bold, It states that the bold supports both,
Wi-Fi: 802.11b/g and Wi-Fi: 802.11a.
What is the differance and will it matter to me as a vzw user?

Nope its incorrect. Tour won't have wifi. If you look at the spec sheet for the device it does not have wifi.
Its only the comparison chart that shows wifi.
