    Dear Sir,
Thank you for your prompt reply.

I have installed the latest desktop soft on my vista, and already downloaded the .590.
    What to do next?

By. The way, I did read your "guide to nuke  ▀▀" and I noticed that's exactly what those guys did to revive the life out of it .

I hope those guys didn't charge you any $
to revive the life out of it
    , as you quoted.

I've always said, knowledge is power, and in this case, it could be very true.

Have you read How to Upgrade your BlackBerry's Operating System yet?

All you have to do after you backed it up, is completely wipe it, using BBSAK, and then use App Loader (DM) to re-install OS 7.0.0.590 to your BlackBerry Bold 9900

    Dear Sir,
Following the guide closely was what I did last time which resulted in my nuked  ▀▀.

Is there any other way of downgrading the os apart from wiping ? I'm so afraid that after wiping I'm back to square zero . And yes, I was charged for visiting those guys..

I tell you this from personal experience, you have to completely wipe your BlackBerry Bold 9900, make sure the vendor.xml file has been deleted (I'm sure this was mentioned in that link I supplied you), re-load OS7.0.0.590 to the device, follow the prompts, sit back, and let it install properly without any interruption, such as pulling the USB cable out from the device while upgrading or downgrading OS (that would guarantee nuked device).

If you truly feel uncomfortable of reloading this OS back to your device, may I suggest finding either a close family member, or friend, who is knowledgeable with upgrading or downgrading the device's operating system?

I hope this will help you understand the process isn't really all that hard, but then again, you have options now

Thanks Grim. I am on BES. Should I just do a security wipe, install .590 and then sync with BES again?

    Dear Sir,

I managed to wipe and install from zero myself... hooray....
that makes me wonder what I did wrong last time...
    to reflect..
last time I deleted the 9900 os file from my computer than I did the wipe..
this time I wiped 1st then deleted the os file from my pc...
