Official OS 6.0.0.668 has reached the BlackBerry Bold 9780 & Torch 9800 on O2 UK. If you have a Bold 9780 or Torch 9800, get out that USB cord and give your a device a fresh OS. Don't forget to drop a comment below and let us know how it's working out for you!

Hello,
Normally when i install a later OS and then go into desktop manager it would then tell me there is an update available for my phone, but that's not happening any more. I deleted the vendor file but update still not showing, any idea what might be the issue? thanks

If you're downloading an OS that has not been released by your carrier, then do not try to use your DM. Since there is no carrier update, nothing will be shown. Follow the link given by Ganayni94 and follow those instructions. It will load the newest OS to your device but will not violate your warranty.

It's probably about time for these new OS releases-at least for some people. I have the 9900. However, it is great news. I hope that the new release does not have as many problems as the OS 7 for other phones.
