Default Leaked: OS 7.0.0.100 for BlackBerry Curve 9350/9370

After seeing OS 6.1 leaked online for the 9810, 9860, and 9900 under the OS 6.1 name, we now see OS 7 (was OS 6.1) for the Curve 9350/9370 come to light after being named the official OS for new BlackBerry devices. This is the first time we have gotten a number for this upcoming Curve device. Perhaps we'll see some new goodies come about from this leak!

Warning: Please remember that this IS NOT an official release OS. If you wish to install this OS, keep in mind that this may cause your phone to not function correctly. BlackBerryOS and any other BlackBerryOS Official sites are not responsible. If you are not comfortable and/or unsure how to upgrade to this OS, please click the link below.

This sounds like where getting closer to the release of the new devices. Hey RIM don't forget to include the OS7 release for my Torch 9800 first.

For sure, when the leaks come, the device follow soon after.

I don't believe the 9800 will get OS 7. That is the understanding going around as OS 7 has features that aren't available on the 9800 device. The understanding is that any current devices will not receive OS 7.

How do you think I felt when I heard that OS 6 wouldn't be available for my 8520? It's the same principle. Newer phones = Better hardware = Better and Newer Operating Systems.

Yes, there are two rumored devices.

The Curve 'Apollo' which has a physical keyboard. And the Curve 'Touch' which is a full touchscreen, much like a mini Storm device.

Just a question, would those extracted apps work on OS5?

I'll try it today. When I download the OS, tell me which apps you want and we could post up the links.

What software are you using to dissect the OS? Is it the java tool?

OH! My first BBOS tutorial can be about extracting stuff from leaked OS's! Awesome! I'll PM you with how to do it, but just don't tell everyone yet, as I've been itching for an idea for a BBOS tutorial.

Yep. Plus, I'm pretty sure no other BlackBerry site has something like this.

I can't PM you now, as I'm about to go to the hospital (yea...I'm sick ), but I'll be sure to send you the info when I'm back.

I've taken a look at some of the extracted files. App World is updated at a version 2.1.3.7, and MSN is at 2.5.83. Also, there seems to be Slacker Radio built-in to this OS, looking good so far.
I tried to update App World, but I got a 907 error...looks like people on OS 5 won't be able to use it anytime soon. Maybe someone using OS6 could try it?
    Heres the link:
    http://db.tt/XKRZiWS

Just unzip, place the folder in your phone, then browse to that folder and click on the appworld.jad.

Oh! Looks like there will be a Music Storefront included in the OS as well.

Nice to hear. Anyone try to install the App World update yet?

How about that tutorial to pick apart the OS?
