Thread: Leaked: OS 6.1.0.50 for BlackBerry 9810, 9860 & 9900

It seems like the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900/9930 is still months away, but apparently that doesn't stop it from having leaked OS updates prior to it's official release. This OS 6.1.0.50 leak also come in the flavor of BlackBerry 9810 (Jennings) & BlackBerry 9860 (Monza).

I think someone forgot to advise the guy who names the OS builds that OS 6.1 is now OS 7.

• Download OS 6.1.0.50 for BlackBerry 9900 (Dakota)

Either that, or this leak has been around before the title change occurred.

Sabis, anyway to extract the battery meter images, ect, from the OS?

Perhaps hybrids, and also these leaks will provide native app updates as well.

It's not compatible with 9700. It's only compatible with BlackBerry 9810, 9860 & 9900

No, although the 9800 and 9810 are both Torch devices, they both have differences in the hardware which affects the OS compatibility. Any current device that is out right now will not be able to load OS 7.

Hey i have a 9810 and my phone is goin crazy i bought it ff of ebay so its not under any carrier warranty but the cursor has a mind of its own and its texting calling scrolling through tabs someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!! the cursor moves on its own someone told me it could be a hardware issue but im praying its a software prob n can be fixed on my own again please help

The obvious thing is to update to the most recent OS. If no improvement, you may be looking at a hardware issue.

Did anyone try it out? If so, please comment

It will most likely be a .706 apps build as that is what has came out recently for other OS 6 devices.
