Verizon Store Robbed, Cop Shot & Suspect Killed
Thursday night I went to visit a friend of mine a few towns over. As I was going done the road I saw a cop with it's lights flashing. The area has a police station right there so I figure it was just somebody that got pulled over. I was wrong. As I got a little closer I saw there were several cop cars with lights on, blocking the entrance to a strip mall. Then I noticed that there was crime scene tape surrounding the strip mall and all 3 major news stations were there.
This was at like a quarter to 9pm. I didn't know what had happened but knew something big must have taken place. For there police to have the strip mall closed off with crime scene tape, and all 3 news stations (ABC, FOX, NBC) being there is a big deal.
Later I was able to catch the news and found out that the Verizon store in the strip mall had been robbed, an undercover plain clothed cop shot, and the suspect fatally shot. It looked like a scene right out of a movie or TV show.
