    PS3 and Netflix team up

This is great news for all of us PS3 guys. I have to admit I was jealous when Xbox got netflix integration. Now PS3 users will be getting the service in November. And even better is that we don't have to pay the $50 a year for xbox live. We get our network for free!

My bluray player has the netflix and it is nice but there aren't a lot of movies available. It is mostly older movies. I actually cancelled my subscription because there wasn't much that I wanted to watch and I also didn't like that you can't search for movies through the device. You have to go online through your computer and add movies to you watch queue. If movies were put online the same day they were released it would be worth it, until then I'll stick to renting movies or PPV.

Yep I agree I run netflix through the xbox and the movies are old and out dated you also lose a lot of functions running it through xbox live.

The rewind and fast forward is horrid and for hard of hearing people like my wife and myself you don't have closed captions, so you have to have the movie really cranked up. Since it is free I keep it for the kiddo as their are some great kid movies on there.

I had all the normal DVD player functions but I was also using a logitec universal remote not a xbox controller.

I have the 890 in livingroom and a 510 in the bedroom. I bought both when circuit city was going out for 50% off. I wanted to get the 1000 but my wife thought it was a little excessive.
