Does anyone know how to Reset Microsoft Office 2007 Settings?
It's called Open Office. Works well...LOL
J/K...I have had MAJOR ISSUES with Office and haven't fixed them yet. It's acting as if my trial has expired. All selections are greyed out and unavailable. This is on a new hard drive, new OS, and new Office Installation. I have a trouble ticket in. If it is resolved I'll let you know...

If while you are in Outlook and you can't determine how to go back to a setting that you may have changed accidentally, you can reset Outlook to when it was first loaded on the PC prior to first run.
This could be an extreme step as it will remove the mail connection settings but should not remove your outlook.pst mail file. You should make a backup copy of the file just in case. It is usually located in c:\users\yourname\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
After you have a copy of your mail file, click on Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt. A new command prompt window will open. Type in cd\ and hit enter to get to the root directory type in cd Program Files for 32 bit Vista or cd Program Files (X86) for 64 bit vista and hit enter then type in cd microsoft office and hit enter then type in cd office12 and hit enter.
You should now see a prompt of C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12 or C:\Program Files (X86)\Microsoft Office\Office12 on the screen.
To continue to reset outlook - at the command prompt type in outlook /firstrun and hit enter. This will start outlook and prompt you to setup your email settings. It will also mean that a new outlook mail file will be created.
Let me know if this is something that you would want to attempt. There are some additional steps to take if you want to continue to receive mail in your existing outlook.pst mail file otherwise a new one will be created and you can access the old mail by opening the data file in outlook.
