What browser is the best? do you think?

I use Google Chrome on my desktop and I hated how it would open like 6 exe's in the task manager BUT it was good. rarely crashed.

On my laptop, Im using Mozilla. It keeps crashing on me! I hate it. In fact its pissing me off where the laptop will be going out the window and replaced with a new one ha.

I HATE Internet Explorer. It makes this site look horrible, layout wise.

SO, what do you guys think is the best and why? and I'll use that instead.

have you tried reinstalling. Or downgrading.

desktop #1 firefox v3.0.8 (never crashes)

laptop #1 firefox v3.0.8 - I am with you Neolantis, my laptop never crashed until I upgraded to v3, now it crashes regularly....

Although last night during a win update the entire thing crashed :grumpy:! I will see after the total reinstall how it reacts.

I have been using firefox for years without any trouble!!!

i got to go with firefox as well. IE is so slow and crappy and frustrating. i love firefox!!

oprea is very good
i use firefox 3 and no problems, crashes every once in a while on you tube but fairly rarely

try oprea or reinstall FF

havent tried opera, use firefox 99.9% of the time, use chrome .01% of the time, NEVER IE

I used to use Firefox only but recently I have been playing around with Safari and I am really liking how fast it is on my PC, as well as the lay out

Google Chrome is the best browser, when i first downloaded it, my internet was running at a lighting speed, i even checked my speed from ip-details and it was normal too..But the only one advantage with firefox is that it has more add ons, which makes things much easier..and for search engine i use Google its pretty good..

I personally love Firefox myself, as I've never really liked IE. You may want to give FF another shot as I've recently had a number of updates for it, and I haven't had any issues whatsoever.

I've also been stuck on FireFox because I'm used to it and I like using the Firebug plugin for website stuff.

Firefox is all I use anymore.It works fine and the plug-ins are nice.

I would have to say Firefox 99.9999%, I love the plug-ins, the way I can access my bookmarks, the plug-ins are fantastic, tons of themes, add-on's and a rather large following gives developers many reasons to develop very good applications.

As for Internet Explorer IE8, and/or IE9, it has come a long way, but still needs improvements.
I couldn't even post them here too many to be honest

On a side note, the OP started this thread on 04-09-2009, notice how Firefox is the choice of several users even 2+yrs ago
