Folks I have searched on here and can't find. Is there a "how to" somewhere for BBM? I have never done that before.

we are currently working on a how to and it should be up soon :)

to join the group.. in bbm there is a "blackberry group" tab, within that tab is "scan a group barcode". seletect that and then let your bb scan the barcode posted above and you should be good to go

I have to tell you, maybe I'm just easily impressed. But scanning the barcode and automatically setting up a group in BBM is so cool :)

Groups are pretty sweet, but they make my storm lag like nobody's business.

I'd say save the barcode image and print it off. :)

I created a group for BBOS users from Canada to join if this group is full... Just email me and I can send you the barcode... I don't have anywhere to host it the barcode image.

I was having trouble on my laptop. I found that if I fit the barcode to fit my Storm screen it wont work. If I moved my phone away from the screen it would. I had to pull it back far enough so other words from the post were showing up. Experiment with it and see if you can get it to click in.
