    Windows 7 anyone?

Im on a Acer Aspire 4730z. Hey its not top o da line. But it suits me. Loads my hybrids for me, lol. Anyways I goto class at AIU online and i got an email says if you have an .edu email account that you can get Windows 7 for 29.99. Thats 100.00 off of the price. I'm gonna get it next week.

Vista is really acting up on my notebook. I have backup discs that i made personally.

what are your thoughts on vista and win 7. Personally i think the price is a no brainer.

Got Windows 7 32bit and 64bit for free from school. Rocking it both on my laptop and desktop. Great step forward compared to Vista and WinXP

Haha there is only one problem with Windows 7...that being that it is windows. Far to virus prone and unstable(no matter what verison your running). I was a little impressed with the beta but I still will take linux over windows anyday. lol.

I don't run anti malware or anti virus program on my computer. Ask me the last time I had a virus. I'm not a windows fan boy. It's a huge improvement over Vista.

I've been running Windows 7 for quite awhile now and love it. I started with the beta version and then upgraded to the RC. What an improvement over Vista, you can't compare.
I'm also using the beta of Microsoft Security Essentials and have not had any viruses or malware at all.

In my opinion widows 98 is better than vista. lol-Vista was just not stable enough for my needs. I mainly run linux--but I have windows 7 partitioned on my hard drive just incase I cant use linux for something.

    Linux>windows 7> Vista

    There is my breakdown.

I can't wait for the final release. I as well bought Vista a month ago or so. So, it will be nice to see 7 for free when it comes out.
