Thread: Virtual Machine

I was wondering if anyone had information on what a Virtual Machine does. How does it assist you? What does it do? etc... Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Basically in laymen terms, a computer running on a computer. You're running Vista now, you could run a virtual machine and run XP, or even Win 7 without having to actually install it on a separate partition.
