Wow talk about the end of a era for a classic TV program. After 26 years the show is coming to a sad end. I'm sure many of you are like me and watch it as a kid. How could you not? It was a great program. Especially with LaVar Burton (who is awesome as hell btw) hosting it. Even though I haven't seen the show in years, I still find it incredibly sad. And the worst part about it all is that the reason for it's end comes down to no one wanting to put up the money to produce the show. None of the major sponsors of the show, PBS, CPB and the Department of Education, are willing to fund the production.
I'm sure someone will say this, so I will just go ahead and say it myself. This makes me feel really old. All of the classic TV shows are pretty much gone that I grew up watching as a kid.
