Like others said, cool idea, but the phone feels like a child's Dollar General plastic cell phone toy.
Ha and that is something you do have quite a bit of experience in lol
I played with it for a few minutes and as others commented it does feel very cheap. The keyboard is really tiny, at least for me it was impossible to use. But that being said there were some cool features about it. The whole cards thing is pretty cool, multitasking was nice and the web looked good. Then again, anything looks better than RIM's browser.
I had the Pre for a couple weeks. The software ran pretty fast. In fact, I really like the OS. My main issue, and why I switched, was the hardware. I had a dead pixel, a weird peeling of the plastic on the side, and the wiggle that everyone talks about. I just didn't feel like hanging onto it past the 30 day window and potentially getting stuck with it when something more serious happened. I look forward to the next WebOS device, especially if they license it to HTC or Samsung.
The battery wasn't a problem. I only ran multiple programs when I needed them, made sure not to leave a bunch of programs going.
