Thread: Driving while texting

Earlier today I was on Pinstack.com and came across this video which was posted up by one of their members (on their front page). It shows the outcome of what driving while texting can result to. Being an LEO, this DOES happen a lot more then people think and this is as realistic as you are going to see it, with out actually being involved.

That is absolutely horrible!!! Doesn't common sense tell people that texting while driving is dangerous?

Wow I'm not even going to watch the videos, just the idea alone makes me want to stop...

I will continue my quest on telling people of the consequences on texting while driving, no matter if they don't want to hear it. Also a word of advice if you are caught while texting while driving that is what will happen to you and others while on the road, so STOP TEXTING WHILE DRIVING NOW that is an ORDER! Another note, STOP T.W.D. NOW, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR YOUR LAME EXCUSES OR YOUR I DON'T CARE. YOU WILL WHEN YOU MEET YOUR MAKER OR END UP IN PRISON FOR VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER!

I text while I drive. I also text while riding the bike. Only thing is, I don't do it unless the conditions are decent and very little traffic. Being an LEO, you have to do multiple things while driving.

Tripster, that is the truth though...A lot of times, people end up hurting someone's loved ones....or their loved ones get hurt by others' TWD!!!

I was hit while on my bike by some ignorant person while they were "TWD". What I said earlier maybe harsh to others, its the honest truth though.
