Thread: Thinking about writing a BB help and tips book.

I was thinking about writing book are a guide about some great bb tips and help guides.I would want everyone from BBOS to help out. I wanted to name it with bbos name incorporated in it. Since u guys inspired me to think of this. I'm taking all suggestions and inputs. Everyone will be greatly thanked and would be named in the book. Can anyone help me on this. I would love if BBOS supports me. I haven't seen anyone else come up with a idea like this. I thi k it would help out lots of people who are having issues but can't really get to a pc. So thanks for reading.

sounds like a good idea.it would probably sell pretty good but would need to be updated frequently.you would need different chapters to cover several different,if not all models.

I care Randy for some reason this thread did not show under new posts until you posted that last comment at: I think that is a great idea, but I would have a concern that most people with BB's more then likely have access to a computer and if not forums then Google search. None the less I think it is a very noble idea and I am sure it would help a lot of people.

True. Ok. That's why I re posted. Also it would be good to tell about all the tips. That's rexlly wha. I want it for.

Having a personal blog with a collection of tips might be a better way to reach people. Hard to make money on that though unless you get some ads on there.

That probably would be the way to go, as features/functions change or new BB's come out you can update your blog. Though as Bryan said, might be difficult to make money off of it.

i agree that a blog or something internet based would work better than a book.... its a great idea randy but i hope you know what your getting yourself into... there are so many different things with BBs that you would need to address and things get updated so often...

Well in that case Randy I really think the blog might be the way to go. Like cat said it would be a lot easier to keep updated then a book. And also with a comment section you could get tips that way as well.

You can also do twitter, though you are limited to 140 characters per post, you can do a teaser in the twitter posting and then reference your blog ... there are some other twitter limits as well
