A question for all of you who have kicked the Meterberry habit. What do you put in the theme created MB slot? Any useful apps for that position or do you try to go with the non-MB versions?n

Good question Rellims I have actually enjoyed trying out themes with just the weather spot, since I couldn't imagine doing so before when I was hooked on MB. For the themes with the OCD slot I throw in Ubertwitter

Even though I do have MB I try to hide it as far away as possible so I find myself using themes with just one icon spot (but I believe Bryan and I would be in the minority on this). To answer your question I put either Opera or media in that slot.

This is what I do. I use it for a "My Apps" folder. I put all my most used apps that aren't on my homescreen in there. That way I can click the folder and jump straight to my apps.

i use the sound profile indicator if there isn't one already on the home screen

well, it really depends what theme you are using and what apps you use the most... i tend to hide my meterberry sometimes... and with a hidden dock theme i will either put bbm or opera mini up there. if it isnt a hidden dock, it depends on the number of icons i have on my homescreen but ubertwitter or opera

That is funny Laney. But Nate does make a good point, deleting MB will add another 4-5MB worth of available memory.

Yeah BBC mentioned it then I decided to give it a shot and it's true. But I went through significant withdrawals and now it's back on and feel much better. :drive:

you can also delete your OS for a jump of 80+mb...but what fun would that be?
